Cochran Mill Nature Center, located just twenty minutes southwest of Metro atlanta, is the perfect setting have fun with a short nature hike. Visitors will be able to break free of the hustle and bustle of one's city and study the natural surroundings. The house and property consists of 50 hectares of heavily forest land, a charming creek with exhilarating experiences, and a small fish pond.

The facility was demonstrated as a private non-profit general educational center. The mission is to design community awareness of environmentally friendly stewardship through its instructive and wildlife recovery programs. Cochran Mill Design Center is a skilled animal rehabilitation facility. The center is home to several different birds of animals, such as owls, hawks, and lions. All of these resident wildlife have been permanently injured and can no longer inhabit the wild. The character center has one of the largest reptile reveals in the state. A variety of Egyptian fruit bats also reside from Cochran Mill.

The nature hiking trails provide an opportunity to witness area wildlife and figure out some large slate outcrops. These outcrops provide a unique ecosystem for professional plants and animals. Cochran Mill Park, an individual mile down Cochran Mill Road from the mother nature center, is also worthy of visiting while in the space. This is a public dog park owned by the City with Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia, and is not affiliated with the nature cardiovascular. The park carries hiking and animal trails, a toy store, and a picnic refuge.
